Otosyphilis In An HIV-Infected Patient: The First Case in Vietnam

Syphilis has been re-emerging around the world, especially in MSM and people living with HIV. Because of high number infections, complications disease that were previously rare, now appear again. Otosyphilis is one them. We reported a case 31-year-old patient, HIV-positive, sudden hearing loss both ears tinnitus due to syphilis. This first otosyphilis detected Vietnam. The diagnosis may be delayed because its symptoms are similar those other diseases. Therefore, there should highly suspected indicator can help clinicians orient handle it timely manner.
